The 53-foot Husky Stack well car is a Gunderson-designed intermodal car built to carry double-stacked shipping containers on standard rail lines. This single-unit, double-stack design is a familiar sight on North American intermodal trains and is widely used across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
On the model, details prioritize realism and durability: see-through etched metal walkways, a fully die-cast body for accurate weight balance, injection-molded end handrails and brake detailing, accurately painted and lettered livery, free-rolling 70-ton trucks with 33-inch metal wheels, and metal knuckle couplers.
