HO Alco PA-2 Locomotive with DCC and Sound is an HO-scale model that captures the classic PA-2 and provides integrated DCC control and authentic sound for a realistic operating experience on your railroad.
Detail-wise, this locomotive features 3D-scanned nose and roof profiles for accuracy, plus road-name specific detailing, separate grab irons and handrails, etched metal grilles, lit number boards, and a full cab interior. It also includes full underbody piping, and operating lighting such as a Gyralite or red Mars light where appropriate. The drive system is Rapido’s proven platform, with configurations that include DC-only, DC-ready (21-pin) or DC/DCC/Sound options powered by an ESU LokSound V5 decoder for crisp, realistic engine sounds and smooth operation.
