An HO-scale GP39-2 Phase I diesel locomotive, equipped with DCC and sound, in Union Pacific livery (UP 2733), designed to bring a classic mid-horsepower EMD road-switcher to a modern layout.
Built for smooth, reliable performance on HO tracks, it rides on a heavy die-cast frame with a Genesis driveline, a 5-pole motor, and a multi-link drivetrain for quiet, confident running. LED lighting and see-through cab windows with a full interior enhance realism, while an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTrax Tsunami2 sound delivers engine, horn, and bell effects in both DC and DCC modes. The model is DCC-ready with a 21-pin plug-and-play interface and CVs for fine-tuning, with road-number- and road-name-specific detailing that reflects prototype UP Phase I variations. The minimum recommended radius is 18 inches, making it compatible with a wide range of HO layouts.
