Description
An HO-scale General Electric 44-Ton Switcher locomotive with DCC and sound in Milwaukee Road livery, number 992, designed for compact, efficient light-switching and industrial work on HO layouts. The 44-tonner is a small, maneuverable diesel built for yard, shop, and industrial service, and this model captures that role with a faithful profile and operating feel.
Across Phases Ic, III and IV the model offers a range of detailing  Phase Ic variants with or without lighted hood-side number boards, Phase III with positionable top hood hatches, and Phase IV  plus a heavy die-cast chassis and fuel tank, two styles of fuel-tank skirts, and separately-applied door latches. Inside, a full cab interior and photo-etched cab steps add realism. On the electronics side, DC models are DCC-ready with a NEXT-18 decoder socket and speakers; DCC-equipped versions are sound-equipped with ESU decoders and sounds and include a Mo-Power power capacitor for authentic operation on compatible layouts.
