This model is equipped with the latest Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC control system featuring ROLLING THUNDER, which enhances the realism of operation with sound and lighting features.
The GP30 stands out due to its powerful performance, with a 2250 horsepower engine that was designed to compete against contemporary models. The model features road-specific details and comes with a precision drive mechanism engineered for heavy towing and smooth, slow-speed operations. It is equipped with all-wheel electrical pick-up, ensuring consistent power delivery, making it suitable for operations on various track types including Code 70, Code 83, and Code 100.
Additional highlights include many separately applied details such as handrails, grab irons, and accurate light operations tailored to each paint scheme. This locomotive model is not only a fantastic representation of the prototype but also a functional component for model railroads.
