Description
HO-scale C&NW 4-6-2 “Dixie Flagler” passenger locomotive in the C&EI 1008 scheme, a faithful recreation of the Yellow Jacket-era steam power used for passenger service. This model features a Paragon4 sound and control system with synchronized puffing smoke and chuff, plus an integrated DCC decoder with back-EMF for smooth slow-speed operation in both DC and DCC layouts. A handcrafted brass boiler, cab, and tender body sits on a heavy die-cast chassis, delivering authentic heft and premium detailing that captures the look and feel of the period on the rails.
On the rails, it offers prototypical lightingâ€â€headlight, numberboard lights, and cab lightâ€â€plus factory-installed engineer and fireman figures and many detailed components such as handrails, ladders, piping, cab glass, whistle, brass bell, and markers. The drive is tuned for heavy pulling power and precise slow-speed movement with a five-pole motor and rubber traction tires, and the model covers era-accurate appearances for 1942, 1944, and 1952. Compatible with HO layouts on 18-inch minimum-radius curves, it combines display-quality detail with reliable, realistic operation.
