Valdosta Southern HO-scale 50-foot Outside Braced Box Car, designed to add authentic freight service to an HO layout. It features a track-powered flashing End Of Train Device (FRED) that operates on both DC and DCC layouts, delivering a realistic rear signal as trains run.
Beyond the tail-light, this car includes a fully detailed painted body with precision graphics, an operable door, blackened machined-metal wheels with RP-25 contours, magnetically operated body-mounted E-Mate couplers, blackened-brass axles with needlepoint bearings, Celcon trucks, and added weight for optimum tracking. It measures about 7.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide by 2 inches high in HO scale (1:87), making it a faithful addition to any Valdosta Southern-themed consist.
