Description
HO Scale PS-4740 Covered Hopper Car in UP road numbers 74113, 74274, and 74444 is a faithful model of the Pullman-Standard PS-2 era covered hopper designed for bulk commodities such as grain. Built to carry 4740 cubic feet of capacity, these cars were a mainstay on North American rails for decades and remain a recognizable sight on modern layouts.
Fully assembled and ready to run, this model features 36-inch nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours, razor-sharp painting and printing, body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers, roller-bearing trucks, and a weighted body for stable operation. It is designed for a minimum layout radius of 18 inches, and multi-pack offerings provide unique road numbers to diversify a fleet on a layout.
