HO-scale FP45 Locomotive in Santa Fe livery is a detailed, ready-to-run model that faithfully reproduces the FP45’s distinctive full-width cowl body and cab interior. Ideal for HO-scale layouts, this locomotive is designed to run smoothly on both DC and DCC layouts, delivering the look and feel of the prototype on your railroad.
Built around a heavy die-cast frame for solid traction, it features scale-accurate details like a full cab interior, see-through cab windows, wire grab irons, and accurately modeled fuel tanks. Santa Fe styling is enhanced with a nose-mounted headlight, cab-mounted gyralight with emergency red warning light (visible in DCC), a 5-chime horn, and a front plow; the model also benefits from RP25 wheel contours, all-wheel drive, and bidirectional LED lighting for realistic operation. Fully assembled and ready-to-run, it is DCC-ready with a plug-and-play 21-pin NEM connector, and sound-equipped versions include onboard SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound. Minimum radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for best performance.
