This is Train Station Products 822 Budd hi-level coach ASTF. Hi-level coach passenger car kit. Santa Fe Budd El Capitan. Introduced on Santa Fe’s El Capitan in 1956, these streamlined, hi-level cars were later acquired by Amtrak. Easy-to-build kits feature plastic bodies and are available undecorated (correct for ATSF or Amtrak schemes) or as ATSF cars, painted silver with black lettering. Models are also offered with blackened brass wheelsets as noted.
