Description
Meet the E-flite S.E.5a 900mm RC airplane, a compact, scale-detailed tribute to the WWI Royal Flying Corps fighter. The BNF Basic version features stabilization with AS3X or AS3X+ and SAFE Select for easier, more forgiving flights, while preserving responsive handling for more experienced pilots. With a 900mm wingspan and authentic scale detailing, this model delivers impressive realism in a size that’s easy to transport and fly at parks, fields, or RC clubs.
Designed for pilots who want realism with approachable performance, the S.E.5a 900mm features a durable EPO airframe and a power system compatible with 3S and 4S packs. It includes a topside hatch for quick battery changes, large main wheels plus a hidden steerable tailwheel for operation from paved, dirt, and some grass surfaces, and snap-in wings for fast assembly. Scale details such as molded ribs, radiator and exhaust details, a machine gun, and a pilot figure with a scarf enhance authenticity, while digital and metal-geared servos ensure precise control across speedsâ€â€from gentle scale flight to basic aerobatics.
