Description
This is a Republic Locomotive Works 28270 N Scale Camp Cars Set (2). Logging camps had to be portable so the loggers could have easy access to the timber. The facilities included bunk cars, dining and kitchen cars, shower cars, and the necessary office and blacksmith car. These kits are based upon the standard gauge Rayonier Lumber Co. prototypes and all are limited production kits. This camp car set includes the Cookhouse Car and two Dining Cars (one for each side of the cookhouse car.) Each set includes the ramps and walkways. Kits are less trucks and couplers – the sample models use MT archbar trucks and MT 901 couplers.
