Description
HO-scale SW1000 switcher locomotive with DCC and sound in BNSF heritage livery, numbered 3609. This Primed For Grime edition reproduces the weathered, in-service look of BN/BNSF yard power, making it a convincing centerpiece for switching operations on an HO layout.
Designed for smooth, reliable yard work, the model features a robust five-pole skew-wound can motor, all-wheel drive, and RP25-contoured wheels for steady tracking. LED lighting with operating ground lights, a detailed injection-molded body, and see-through radiator grille and cab windows add to the realism, while separately applied grab irons, MU hoses, and trainline hoses with silver glad hands supply authentic detailing. The DCC-ready design includes a Quick Plug 21-pin connector for easy DCC installation, and the onboard Tsunami2 DCC/Sound decoder powers engine, horn, and bell sounds through dual cube speakers on both DC and DCC layouts; it is fully assembled and ready-to-run, negotiates an 18-inch minimum radius, and uses McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) for reliable coupler operation.
