Description
An HO-scale SD70ACe locomotive with DCC and sound in Norfolk Southern’s 30th Anniversary livery brings the power and detail of a modern diesel to HO layouts. This ready-to-run model houses an onboard DCC decoder with Tsunami2 sound and dual speakers, delivering authentic engine growl, horn, and bell audio with LED lighting for realistic operation in both DC and DCC environments.
Designed for HO-track layouts, it features 21-pin NMRA plug-and-play DCC readiness, fine-scale handrails, see-through cab windows, and MU hoses for authentic detail. A heavy die-cast frame provides traction and durability, while all-wheel electrical pickup keeps running smooth. It is built for reliable, prototypical operation on 18-inch radius curves (22-inch radius recommended) and supports full DCC function control for nuanced, slow-speed performance.
