HO scale 65’6″ Mill Gondola is a highly detailed, ready-to-run freight model that reproduces a classic General American design from the 1940s. Built to carry long steel beams and other oversized loads, the riveted body and hinged end panels mirror the prototype’s functionality. It features working drop ends and separately applied wire grab irons, along with interior detailing that enhances realism.
Equipped with machined metal wheels and RP25 contours for smooth operation on most HO track, the car uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for reliable, prototypical coupling. Decorated models arrive fully assembled and ready to run, so they can join a yard or freight consist immediately. A minimum 18-inch radius is recommended to ensure clearances on curves.
