Description
HO-scale Ready-To-Run 53-foot Wabash plate trailer in Bay Logistics 1 livery adds a convincing intermodal touch to HO layouts.
Fully assembled and richly detailed, the model features separate etched metal hazmat placards and mudflaps, a painted roof with lights and conspicuity stripes, and door closure rods. It rides on eight detailed tires with sand shoes installed using removable glue and includes a sliding tandem axle for realistic movement and hitching. In the real world, 53-foot trailers became standard in the mid-1990s, and the Wabash Duraplate trailer remains a common sight on highways and in piggyback service, making the Bay Logistics 1 edition a convincing choice for intermodal scenes on HO layouts.
