HO scale Ready-to-Run 50-foot Pullman Standard PS-5344 box car, road number 2014, recreates the classic 50’ outside-post design from the 1970s and ships decorated and ready to run, making it easy to add authentic freight service to an HO layout.
Designed for smooth operation on standard HO tracks, it features separately applied wire grab irons, a brake wheel and end ladders, etched end platforms, and machined 33″ solid nickel-silver RP25 wheels. The model is weighted for reliable tracking, uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and has a highly detailed injection-molded body. With a minimum radius of 18 inches, this PS-5344 box car captures a familiar era and remains a practical, visually authentic workhorse for switching, yard work, and long trains on modern layouts.
