Description
An HO-scale model of the Pullman-Standard PS-4740 Covered Hopperâ€â€a 4740-cubic-foot bulk-car designed to haul grain and other bulk commodities on North American rails. Fully assembled and ready to run on standard HO layouts, it recreates the utilitarian look and historical role of mid-century freight service.
Designed for dependable operation on HO tracks, the model rides on 36-inch nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours, features body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, roller-bearing trucks, and weight for steady, realistic performance. Multi-packs offer unique road numbers, and the design supports typical 18-inch minimum-radius curves for smooth layout operation.
