Based on Pullman-Standard’s PS-4740 design introduced in 1967 with a 4,740 cubic foot capacity, this model recreates a durable bulk-carrier hopper that hauled commodities like grain on North American rails for decades.
Fully assembled and ready for a layout, it features 36-inch solid nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on popular track brands, razor-sharp painting and printing, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, roller-bearing trucks, and a weighted body for stable, realistic performance. Multi-packs offer unique road numbers, and the car can negotiate minimum radii of 18 inches.
