Description
HO Maxi-III Well Cars come as a five-car HO-scale set designed to haul intermodal containers in double-stack configurations. The well between the trucks lowers containers, allowing two containers to ride per car where clearance permits.
Key details include 33″ and 38″ solid nickel-silver wheels with RP25 contours for prototypical rolling action, and weight added for steady performance. The cars feature body-mounted McHenry operating scale upper and lower shelf knuckle couplers, a highly detailed injection-molded body, and authentic painting and printing. With a minimum radius of 18 inches, they fit neatly into most hobby layouts while faithfully representing the Maxi-III design.
