An HO-scale GP39-2 Phase I diesel locomotive in Union Pacific livery, road number 2736, designed for realistic operation on model railroads. It comes with a DCC decoder and SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, delivering authentic engine, horn, and bell audio as you run it.
Inside, a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole motor and a heavy die-cast frame provide smooth, powerful operation and reliable current pickup. The model features LED lighting, lit number boards, see-through cab windows, and fine-scale details like etched grilles, walkways, and handrails, plus body-mounted McHenry couplers for reliable coupling. It’s DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology using a 21-pin NEM connector and runs on both DC and DCC, with full function control in DCC mode and CVs to tailor MU lashups. UP-specific detailing includes early Phase I body styling, newly tooled D&H-style walkway and fuel tank, front ditch lights, a front plow, Nathan 5-chime horn, and a large Sinclair antenna to capture the prototype look.
