Description
This HO-scale GP15T Locomotive in Southern Pacific No. 3900 is a high-detail, ready-to-run model designed to capture SP’s 1980s-era GP15T switcher fleet. Part of the Legendary Liveries line, it mirrors SP styling and equipment for an authentic yard-to-road operation. Built around a heavy die-cast frame with a Genesis driveline, it delivers smooth, reliable pulling power, and is offered in DCC-ready form with a 21-pin NEM interface; sound-equipped versions add a Tsunami2 decoder and dual cube speakers for lifelike engine, horn, and bell sounds.
Detail and scale realism come through in features like see-through cab windows with a full interior, cab-mounted gyralight (nose light on DCC/Sound versions), operating class lights, a large snowplow, and SP fittings such as the Nathan P-3 horn and whip antenna on Blomberg-M trucks. The GP15 lineage also includes coupler cut levers, MU hoses, Trainline hoses, windscreen wipers, sander lines, full LED lighting, RP25-wheel contours, and all-wheel drive with reliable electrical pickup. Fully assembled and ready to run, it’s built for HO layouts with a minimum radius of 18 inches (22 inches recommended) and comes securely packaged for safe storage.
