Description
The PRR Circle Keystone G22 Gondola Six-Pack is an HO-scale set built to recreate the Pennsylvania Railroad’s G22 class gondolas from the 1915–1917 era. These cars served PRR for decades, with many later appearing in Penn Central and Conrail work-train service, and some were converted to container duty in the 1930s with 100-ton trucks. The six-pack faithfully reproduces the Circle Keystone livery and the distinctive end styles of the G22 family, with brake configurations (K or AB) represented as appropriate and container loads included for the G22b variant where offered.
Designed for dependable operation on HO layouts, these gondolas feature a diecast chassis for weight and stable hauling, full interior and exterior rivet detail, separate wire grab irons, and Rapido semi-scale metal couplers. They ride on free-rolling trucks with 70-ton or 100-ton capacity and turned metal wheels. With period-accurate decoration and thoughtful detailing, this six-pack makes a versatile centerpiece for PRR freight trains or container-hauling scenes.
