HO scale Cryogenic Tank Car in UTLX Black is a detailed model of a high-capacity liquid-gas transporter for HO layouts. It faithfully reproduces cryogenic service, hauling ultra-cold liquids such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquid argon at temperatures around -297°F, -320°F, and -302°F, with oxygen capacity over 15,000 gallons.
Built for realism on model railroads, it rides on metal wheelsets with NMRA RP-25 profiles and includes a Kadee-compatible knuckle coupler. Two truck optionsâ€â€friction-bearing and roller-bearingâ€â€plus two roof-walk configurations and other finely applied details such as handrails and ladders boost authenticity. Compatible with Code 70, Code 83, and Code 100 track, it requires an 18-inch minimum radius. Two-car packs include two uniquely numbered cars for layout realism.
