Description
This HO-scale Budd Slumbercoach BN Loch Tay is a meticulously detailed plastic model designed for HO-model railroaders who want to recreate a late-1950s Budd sleeper in Burlington Northern livery. The Loch Tay car captures the distinctive overnight design and the long-distance travel atmosphere of the era.
Designed from Budd’s original blueprints, the model features extensive underbody detail with separate pipes and conduits, a fully realized interior including roomette doors, and track-powered interior lighting compatible with both DC and DCC layouts. It rides on authentic GSC 41-NDO-11 trucks with disc-brake detail, includes etched-metal end gates and sprung diaphragms, and finishes with a stainless-steel look and separately applied name boards. A selection of paint schemes is offered, along with a generic painted variant ready for custom liveries.
