It captures the distinctive two-level profile and authentic styling of North American bilevel commuter cars, making it ideal for realistic yard scenes, mainline runs, or roster displays with museum-quality paint and lettering.
Designed for smooth operation and display-worthy realism, this model features an accurate body shell with rivet detailing and authentic window configurations (five windows on the lower level, or four where appropriate). It rides on free-rolling, inside-bearing trucks with roller-bearing axles and metal wheelsets and is built to handle curves with a minimum 22-inch radius. Full underbody detail, tinted windows, and metal side grab irons add to the authenticity, while interior lighting works in both DC and DCC modes and cab-car lighting can be controlled. The cab cars are pre-wired with a speaker and a 21-pin socket to enable full DCC sound functionality.
