HO-scale Baldwin Sharknose A-B Locomotive Set in Pennsylvania Railroad livery, featuring Paragon4 Sound. This powered A-unit, paired with an unpowered B-unit with a lightweight frame, recreates the classic ABA configuration for authentic mid-20th-century freight on an HO layout.
Paragon4 Sound and Control System featuring Rolling Thunder delivers authentic Baldwin Sharknose sounds and control, while the integral dual-mode decoder with Back EMF ensures smooth slow-speed operation in DC and DCC. The drive is engineered for heavy pulling power and smooth slow speeds, with all-wheel electrical pickup and a die-cast chassis for maximum traction. Prototypical painting and road numbers, along with many separately applied details like grab irons, horns, and a bell, give the model a realistic finish, and working lights further enhance the display. MicroTrains-compatible couplers and compatibility with Code 55/70/80 rails simplify layout integration, and the minimum operating radius is 18 inches.
