Description
HO Bay Window Caboose with Lights and Sound, WPRR 2 is an HO-scale caboose designed for realistic tail-end operations on model railroads. It features LED lighting and an on-board DCC decoder, with the option to add sound for a more immersive operating session. Fully assembled and ready to run, this detail-rich car brings Willamette & Pacific’s caboose styling to life on HO layouts.
Built for authentic detail and dependable performance, it includes interior seating for crew figures, flush window glazing, and scale-detail features such as wire-form grab irons and a fully equipped underframe. The model rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, is weighted for smooth operation, and uses body-mounted McHenry knuckle-spring couplers for realistic coupling. It supports DCC and analog DC operation with NMRA-compatible lighting, and the sound-equipped version adds a Tsunami decoder delivering horn or whistle sounds, wheel clack, brake actions, emergency brake, handbrake, and flange squeal for extra realism. With an 18-inch minimum radius and multiple road numbers, this caboose is ready to blend into prototypical HO operations on a wide range of layouts.
