Description
HO-scale Gunderson 60-foot high-cube, double-door box car in CSX livery captures a Gunderson-built prototype for modern freight trains. This finely detailed model is designed for HO-scale layouts and is suitable for representing a wide range of cargoâ€â€from auto parts to forest productsâ€â€on contemporary rail corridors, bringing realism to any model railroad.
Detail features include separately applied wire grab irons and etched end platforms, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and razor-sharp painting and printing. The model is weighted for steady performance and rides on 36-inch metal wheels with RP25 contours. Minimum radius is 18 inches, with a 22-inch radius recommended for smooth operation. Primed for grime models, it captures the look of in-service equipment with faded base colors and provides an excellent starting point for adding grime and rust to match the prototype.
