Description
This HO-scale 62-foot tank car models a GATX prototype used to haul liquids, adding a realistic touch to any HO layout. Fully assembled and ready to run, it sits beside other freight cars to recreate a believable, prototypical rail scene.
Detail highlights include separately applied top fittings, handrails, ladders and a brake wheel, plus body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers and machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on standard HO track. The highly detailed injection-molded body is accurately painted for prototypical realism, and added weight keeps the car tracking steadily. With a minimum radius of 22 inches, this tank car performs well on most HO layouts.
