Description
HO-scale 60-foot Gunderson boxcar in BNSF livery, a precisely detailed model designed for modern freight trains on HO layouts. This Gunderson-built boxcar features separately applied wire grab irons and etched end platforms, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and a weighted chassis for stable running. It rides on 36-inch metal wheels with RP25 contours and is engineered to handle tight curves with a minimum turning radius of 18 inches (22 inches recommended).
Part of the Legendary Liveries collection, these schemes showcase popular and imaginative paint jobs that suit collecting, proto-freelancing, or simply adding character to a roster. The model faithfully recreates a Gunderson-built boxcar in BNSF colors, with closely related Trenton/Greenbrier-built cars offered as stand-ins to broaden roster variety and layout realism.
