HO-scale 60-foot Gunderson boxcar model designed for realistic modern freight operations. This Gunderson-built boxcar carries the TBOX designation and is offered in Legendary Liveries, a curated collection of popular railroad paint schemes that add character and history to any model roster.
Detail-wise, it includes separately applied wire grab irons and etched end platforms, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and razor-sharp painting and printing. It is weighted for steady running and rolls on 36-inch metal wheels with RP25 contours. Designed to handle tight curves with a minimum radius of 18 inches (22 inches recommended). Inspired by Gunderson’s modern 60-foot boxcars, the Legendary Liveries collection includes close stand-ins for similar Trenton/Greenbrier-built cars, enabling varied and believable freight trains on layout.
