This HO-scale 56-foot Centerflow Hopper is a model freight car designed for realistic operation on HO layouts. It’s built to haul fine, granular loads such as plastic pellets and animal feed, featuring four discharge bays under the body to support rapid loading and unloading. These centerflow hoppers were produced through the early 1980s and remain a familiar sight on mixed freights across the United States, Canada, and Mexico on today’s layouts.
The model delivers authentic detail and smooth operation, riding on free-rolling metal wheels with RP25 contours and equipped with E-Z Mate Mark II knuckle couplers. It’s available in several paint schemes, including CPR livery, to replicate the classic North American centerflow hopper look and add realism to freight scenes.
