This is a Broadway Limited 1213 HO Scale Chicago & Eastern Illinois Paragon 2 Diesel EMD SW7 – Sound & DCC Equipped 128 (black, white stripes). After WWII, dieselization began in earnest, and EMD’s switchers dominated the market. EMD built 888 of their NW2 model. Each was equipped with a 1000 hp, V12 567-A engine.
