This HO-scale GP50 locomotive with DCC and sound is a fully assembled, ready-to-run model designed to bring a BNSF GP50 to life on your layout, numbered 3110. It’s part of the Legendary Liveries collection, offering iconic paint schemes that stand out on any roster.
Built for reliable, smooth operation, the model features a heavy die-cast frame for traction and a 5-pole motor with flywheels and a multi-link drive, plus all-wheel drive and electrical pickup for steady power. Fine detailing includes see-through cab windows, Celcon handrails, and individually applied grab irons, along with separately-applied horns and McHenry operating scale knuckles. Lighting includes LED headlights with applicable ditch lights and beacons, and the wheels are nickel-plated, blackened machined with RP25 contours. It ships painted and decorated, is DCC-ready via a 21-pin NEM plug for decoder installation and sound options, and is designed to perform on layouts with an 18-inch minimum radius (22 inches is recommended for best operation).
