Description
HO-scale Canadian Pacific H16-44 locomotive in Block Schemeâ€â€a faithful HO model of Fairbanks Morse’s mid-century diesel built for CPR. This Phase III variant captures CPR’s distinctive styling and proportions, making it a credible centerpiece for any Canadian layout.
Road-name specific detailing includes hood doors and handrails, with separate grab irons installed at the factory. The model offers both dynamic and non-dynamic car bodies, full underbody piping, lit number boards, headlights, and green and white class lights. It’s available in DC, DC-ready, or DC with sound configurations, and rides on prototypical trucks from Dofasco or Fairbanks Morse. A proven drive system adapted from the FA-2, plus Macdonald Cartier magnetic couplers installed at the correct height, deliver reliable operation and smooth coupling on modern layouts.
