Description
An HO-scale PC&F 5241 cubic-foot boxcar, reproduced in a Boston & Maine – Pan Am (B&M–Pan-Am) livery for authentic late-20th-century freight on HO layouts. This faithful model captures the distinctive Incentive Pier Diem era boxcar styling and reflects the pulp-and-paper traffic that defined the period, making it a natural addition to a period-appropriate roster.
Prototype-accurate in scale and detail, the car features three door styles, full underbody detail, and separate wire grab irons. It rides on free-rolling trucks with turned metal wheels and uses Rapido semi-scale metal couplers for reliable, true-to-life operation. The paint and decoration are precisely applied, and multiple road numbers are available for each scheme, allowing builders to tailor a roster that matches a specific era and interchange.
