Description
HO Magor 54-Foot Flatcar in DODX Late Scheme (6-Pack) is an HO-scale recreation of Magor Car Corporation’s 54-foot flatcars used by the U.S. military to haul heavy hardware during the Korean War. The six-car set mirrors the original design with about 54 feet in length, roughly 36 tons of empty weight and a 100-ton load capacity, featuring a wood deck and a heavy steel frame mounted on Buckeye three-axle trucks for authentic operation on HO layouts.
Drawn from original blueprints, these cars include a fully detailed underframe with piping and equipment, correct Buckeye three-axle trucks, metal knuckle couplers, a simulated wood deck, and wire grab irons and stirrups. This level of detailing delivers a realistic look and dependable handling, making the six-pack a strong historical addition for mid-century or Korean War-era HO-scale layouts and dioramas.
