Description
HO Magor 54-foot Flatcar, Black, Unlettered  Single Car is an HO-scale replica that recreates the Magor Car Corporation’s 54-foot flatcar used by the U.S. Army during the Korean War. This unlettered black model mirrors a 54-foot-long car with an empty weight of about 36 tons and a payload capacity around 100 tons, built to haul tanks and other heavy equipment across the rails. The design includes a simulated wood deck, a heavy steel frame, and Buckeye three-axle trucks for a faithful, period-accurate silhouette.
Drawn from original blueprints and drawings, the model features a fully detailed underframe with piping and equipment, metal knuckle couplers, simulated wood deck, and wire grab irons and stirrups. These details give an authentic appearance on an HO-scale layout and make it a compelling centerpiece for mid-20th-century military or freight scenes.
