Description
An HO-scale Horizon ADA Coach in Amtrak Phase 6 livery, this model provides a precise representation of the ADA-compliant passenger car from Amtrak’s Horizon fleet. Introduced in 1989 as part of the Amfleet IIIs program, Horizon coaches evolved through Phase III to Phase VI, with updated paint schemes that are faithfully captured here to add realism to an Amtrak layout.
Designed for model railroaders, the coach features full underbody and interior detail, accurate painting and lettering, tinted windows, and flicker-free interior lighting for both DC and DCC operation. It rides on correct GSI G70 trucks with metal wheelsets and includes independently controllable end marker lights and metal side grab irons, along with free-rolling wheels for smooth, reliable operation.
