This HO-scale GE 44-Tonner Switcher Locomotive in NH Warm Orange delivers a compact, ready-to-run model of the classic GE diesel built for light switching and industrial work. Representing several production phases, it captures the distinctive profile and authentic NH livery, making it a convincing addition to any HO layout.
With a heavy die-cast chassis and fuel tank for durability, the model features a full cab interior, photo-etched cab steps, and separately-applied door latches for realism. A smooth coreless motor with dual flywheels ensures steady operation. DC versions are DCC-ready with NEXT-18 sockets and speakers, while DCC-equipped units add ESU sound and a Mo-Power power capacitor. The tooling covers Phase Ic (with or without lighted hood side number boards), Phase III with positionable top hood hatches, and Phase IV variations for authentic detail.
