This HO-scale plastic model captures the 45-foot Trailmobile trailer with a side door, a classic piece of Canadian intermodal equipment used by CN and CP in the 1970s. The 45-foot Trailmobile arrived in Canada in the mid-1970s and was offered in two variantsâ€â€with and without side doorsâ€â€so the side-door edition adds authentic variety to an HO layout.
Made from plastic for durability and realism, it features two-piece landing gear that can be positioned for in-motion or parked stances, separately applied mudflaps, and a highly detailed wheel and axle area. The CPR scheme options include three different numbers per scheme, enabling hobbyists to create multiple, era-appropriate intermodal scenes on their layouts.
