HO-scale Canadian Pacific CP 5542 Pac‑Man scheme EMD SD40 locomotive is a highly detailed model designed for realistic operation on HO layouts. It is available in Stealth Series (DCC-ready, no sound) and Paragon4-equipped variants, offering DC operation out of the box or a fully featured sound version.
Out of the box, front and rear headlights are directional, and other lights stay on with track power, though some lighting functions may vary depending on the installed decoder. The model features a precision drive for heavy towing and smooth slow-speed operation, all-wheel electrical pickup, and an ABS-bodied shell with a die-cast chassis for maximum traction. Prototypically accurate paint and road numbers are complemented by many separately applied detailsâ€â€handrails, grab irons, horn, bell, wipers, and etched grillsâ€â€along with metal Kadee-compatible couplers. It will operate on Code 70, 83, and 100 track, with a minimum operating radius of 18 inches.
