Description
The HO 53′ Wabash Duraplate Trailer, model number Heartland 8539, is a meticulously crafted model designed for train enthusiasts and collectors. This model accurately reflects the Wabash 53′ Plate trailer, a prevalent design from the 1990s known for its unique, uneven spacing in the exterior ribs. Fully assembled, it features a range of detailed components that enhance its realism.
Among its notable attributes are separate etched metal hazmat placards, painted etched metal mudflaps, and a painted roof along with lights and conspicuity stripes. The trailer is equipped with a six-piece landing gear assembly and eight rubber tires, ensuring strong stability and functionality. This model is ideal for those looking to represent traditional piggyback service transport from the 90s and early 2000s, as similar models can still be seen in use today.
