This HO-scale DDA40X Centennial locomotive with DCC and sound recreates Union Pacific’s iconic twin-engine diesel on a model railroad layout, bearing road number UP 6905. The 98-foot DDA40X was UP’s powerhouse for high-priority freight in the late 1960s, and this model brings that imposing presence to life with authentic detailing and programmable sound and lighting for a vibrant layout scene.
Designed for DCC-equipped layouts, it features era-appropriate horns and placement, LED lighting with ground effects and class lights, functioning beacons, rubber MU hoses, lit number boards, and etched see-through ladder steps.
