Designed for realistic operation, this model features a full cab interior, see-through cab windows, wire grab irons, and scale handrails mounted on a heavy die-cast frame for added traction. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology and a 21-pin NEM connector, and sound-equipped versions include an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound that runs on both DC and DCC. With RP25-contoured wheels for track compatibility, all-wheel-drive gearing for smooth, quiet performance, and a minimum radius of 18 inches (22 inches recommended), this FP45 delivers dependable, authentic operation on a wide range of HO layouts.
