Description
HO-scale Ready-to-Run Soo Line 60-foot flat car, faithfully modeled after a late-1960s bulk-load carrier designed to haul lumber, pipe, and other bulk loads on an HO layout. Decorated, fully assembled, and ready to roll straight from the box, it delivers authentic era detail for everyday operation and display.
The model features separately applied end details and a brake wheel, 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for smooth running, and a weighted body for stable tracking. Body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers provide reliable, prototypical coupling, while the highly detailed injection-molded body enhances realism. With an 18-inch minimum radius, it fits a wide range of HO layouts, and the prototype backgroundâ€â€late-1960s design intended for lumber and pipe service and enhanced by stake pockets to stabilize loadsâ€â€helps create believable bulk-load scenes on the railroad.
