Based on the modern Gunderson-built 60-foot boxcar, this model is designed to carry a wide range of loads on today’s rails. It features separately applied wire grab irons and etched end platforms, body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and razor-sharp painting and printing for an authentic UP look. Weighted for optimum performance, it rolls on 36-inch metal wheels with RP25 contours and is suited for layouts with a minimum 18-inch radius (22 inches recommended) to ensure smooth, reliable operation through curves.
