HO Scale 50-Foot Youngstown Plug-Door Box Car, BM 152 is a meticulously detailed model of a mid-century insulated freight car. It reproduces the plug-door design that seals cargo for days, making it ideal for depicting temperature-sensitive loads on an HO layout.
It features separately applied brake wheel and ladders, 70-ton roller-bearing trucks, and 33-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, all weighted for stable running. The body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers provide authentic coupling action, and the injection-molded body is painted and printed in representative prototype schemes. With a minimum radius of 18 inches, this car fits a wide range of HO curves.
