Description
An HO-scale 50-foot Pullman Standard boxcar, designed to bring authentic mid-1970s freight service to an HO layout. It features a single 10-foot Pullman Standard door, along with separately applied grab irons, end ladders, and a brake wheel, plus a photo-etched crossover platform and a finely painted and printed finish for realistic decoration.
The model rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and is weighted for steady operation on standard curves. Body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers ensure reliable coupling, while the highly detailed injection-molded body captures the era’s look. With a minimum radius of 18 inches, this car is ready to run on common HO layouts and pairs well with other period-correct rolling stock to produce convincing, busy freight trains.
